Kerins Point of View

This photo took several attempts before I finally captured an image I felt satisfied showcasing.  KDHX 88.1 has their broadcasting studio down the street in Grand Center Arts district.  The contrast between the semi-lit sign and the gray brick offers the viewer a chance to focus on the details of the sign rather than the background. I stood almost directly underneath the sign on the side of the building. Luckily, the dusk lighting meant that the lights were slowing turning on and warming  up. This allows the viewer to see the rows of fluorescent light tubes spanning the sign.  I like the framing of the image; although I did cut off some of the yellow rays and wished I would’ve had a better spot or wider-view lens to capture the entire sign.
