Brid Fahey – Point of View

I enjoyed shooting the Point of View pictures, however, I definitely struggled with this assignment. The hardest part of the assignment, in my opinion, was getting a good nature shoot, that also had a human element in it. Although I was able to capture nature photos with a human element, my favorite photo from the assignment is a picture without the human element.

This is my favorite shot because of the angle, light and texture in the picture. I used a ‘worm’s eye view’ to capture the light hitting the leaves. Also, this angle and exposure shows the texture of the leaves. This photo makes me think of fall and how the leaves are starting to turn crisp in Forest Park. Although I had a difficult time finding good photos, I truly enjoyed this assignment.

glad you enjoyed the assignment! Wish we had more of a main light on the leaves as opposed to the backlit. It would have helped it be more dimensional. Otherwise, so glad you went out looking for photographs.
